Gallery 1<\/h3>\n

Exhibition programme of the central gallery area of the House of Arts in \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem is focused on presenting significant artists and remarkable artistic trends of present-day, primarily Central European visual art. Seven projects will be introduced every year \u2013 from solo exhibitions to thematic group presentations.<\/p>\n

In 2017, the framework of the exhibition programme will reflect underlying processes within a current social context, which represent changes in socio-cultural and political climate of Central Europe. These changes originate in insufficient reflection of historical context, as well as from actions formed by global environment.<\/p>\n

The head curator of the House of Arts in \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem is Michal Kole\u010dek, who works on realisations of individual exhibition projects in cooperation with invited freelance curators or with curators who represent not only local professional institutes, but also partner institutions, primarily foreign.<\/p>\n

Gallery 2<\/h3>\n
\n\t

The second, smaller-sized exhibition area of the House of Arts in \u00dast\u00ed nad Labem, Gallery 2, is open to presenting young contemporary art and design during the realisation of solo or small group exhibitions. The presentation in the Gallery 2 is focus on art approaches, creation process and visual thinking the artists connected to PhD studies in Czech or foreign universities.<\/p>\n

The main curator of the gallery Mrs. Ad\u00e9la Machov\u00e1 prepare an exhibition programme from 2017 and from 2019 also in a cooperation with another curators (Barbora H\u00e1jkov\u00e1, Krist\u00fdna H\u00e1jkov\u00e1, Kate\u0159ina Pale\u0161n\u00edkov\u00e1 etc.).<\/p>\n

Gallery 3<\/h3>\n

This gallery space creates a specific environment for the presentation of artists working with sound and spatial perception. The presentation here defines a sound point prepared by the author \u2014 a place where you can listen, deeply concentrate, share or resonate. The default format of listening through headphones brings both, a moment of focused perception and a certain variability in the form of site-specific creation. Works presented can come for example as sound installations, audiovisual creations or sound mapping. The program of sound interventions is dramaturgically prepared by curators Ad\u00e9la Machov\u00e1 and Jan Krti\u010dka.<\/span><\/p>\n
